BME VIK és a Magyar Asztronautikai Társaság (MANT) 2024-ben is megszervezi a H-SPACE 2024 konferenciát, azaz a 8th International Conference on Research, Technology and Education of Space nemzetközi űrkutatási konferenciát.

A konferencián való részvétel ingyenes, az elmúlt alkalmakkal 150-200 résztvevőnk volt rajta.

 Call for Papers – H-SPACE 2024

 8th International Conference on Research, Technology and Education of Space "Cooperation in the space sector"

 April 25-26, 2024, Budapest, Hungary

Hybrid conference – in person and online http://space.bme.hu

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) – in cooperation with the Hungarian Astronautical Society (MANT) – organizes an international conference on space research under the name of H-SPACE 2024. Following the success of previous conferences, this becomes the 8th International Conference on Research, Technology and Education of Space.

The featured topic of this year's conference is "Cooperation in the space sector", however, contributions are not limited to the featured topic. The agenda of the conference addresses scientific, technological and educational aspects of space research and space activities. The conference is open to both international and local professionals. It also provides an opportunity to showcase Hungarian scientific, technological, educational and outreach activities, related to space.

The conference consists of three main sections, related to Science, and Technology, followed by Education and Outreach.

We accept abstracts for oral and poster presentations. All accepted abstracts will be published in the book of abstracts (with ISBN number).

Authors will be asked to submit a full paper which will be published in the official conference proceedings after the conference (with ISBN number). We have a no show – no paper policy which means only those papers will be published in the conference proceedings whose authors participated the conference and hold their presentation (either oral or poster). The authors of the best lectures will be given an option to publish their papers in peer-reviewed journals.

The participation is free-of-charge.

The conference will be a hybrid event. On the first day, we will host in person presentations (oral and posters) which will be live streamed for online participants. The second day we will host online presentations.
